Dalton Kaufman is a USSF National A Licensed coach and brings over 24+ years of coaching experience to Beach Futbol Club. He was the founding coach and general manager of the Beach Futbol Club WPSL women’s team in addition to coaching and training several youth teams in the club. Coach Kaufman is a former coach for the 3-Time NSCAA/adidas National Champion Long Beach City College Women’s Soccer Team and a former assistant coach at Long Beach State University. He further served as an assistant coach for the regional and national champion Cal South ODP G87’s.
Although born and raised in Long Beach, Coach Kaufman moved to Arizona for three years where was the State Director of ODP in addition to serving as both the Director of Coaching for the Arizona Rush Soccer Club and the Associate Director of Coerver® Arizona. While serving as ODP Director, he was the Head Coach of the Arizona ODP ’96 Boys and ODP ’94 Girls. He is a founding coach of the Arizona Rush WPSL team that advanced to the 2008 WPSL National Championship and 2010 USYSA U23 National Championship.
Before moving to Arizona in 2008, Kaufman coached club soccer at CRSC Infinity and was a co-founder of Collegiate Athletic Preparatory Sessions (CAPS).
Kaufman is currently in his second stint at the Head Coach for the LB Wilson High School Girls Soccer Program, leading the Bruins to the 2013 CIF-SS Championship. He first directed the program from 1999-2004 where he led the Bruins to three league titles and the Moore League’s first-ever Top Ten NSCAA/adidas national ranking. While coaching at LB Wilson, Kaufman was also a full-time foreign language teacher.
Prior to working at LB Wilson, Kaufman was the Head Coach and Program Director for the Bellflower High School Girls Soccer Program.
Kaufman is the Associate Head Coach and General Manager of the FC Pacific Makos. FC Pacific competes in the Pacific South Conference of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL). The Orange County based women’s amateur team is independent and unaffiliated to a Cal South club.
Dalton graduated from the University of Southern California (’94) and has a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning (Critical Pedagogy). He lives in Belmont Shore with his wife Samantha, and son Callum.
