    Coaching Experience

    Kenyon started coaching nearly 30 years ago in 1991 at West High School in Torrance, CA. His career in high school coaching extended to the other South Bay schools such as South High School, North High School, and Bishop Montgomery. Coaching along with Steve Burk and Kevin Clark, the team holds the record of most consecutive CIF League wins.

    He was also an assistant to Karen Hanks, at Cal State Dominguez Hills. At the time, Karen held the record for the most Division II Women’s Soccer wins in the country.

    Kenyon coached, managed, and assisted Ajax America Women’s Professional Team for 12 years. During his tenure with Ajax, the team won 3 WPSL Championships and 5 USASA National Championships. After winning in the World Cup Stadium Seoul Korea in 2006, the team became the #2 FIFA-ranked women’s club team in the world. During this time, he coached against many national teams including the USA, Mexico, China, South Korea, and New Zealand. During his coaching career, he has coached various professional and national players including two who won FIFA Female Player of the Year.

    Kenyon has been the technical trainer for youth club soccer organizations, in which he led the way in an innovated curriculum for multiple age groups. He has also taken the lead and organized club wide fundraisers and directed club tournaments.

    He has coached youth club soccer for over 20 consecutive years. Kenyon’s teams have won dozens of league championships, State Cup finalist, Final Four National Cup, and multiple Sweet 16 finishes.


    Playing Experience

    • Kenyon made the ODP pool as a youth and played games with the U23 State Team.
    • He played 2 full years at El Camino College for Norm Jackson in which he was an all American both years. Then, he played 2 more years at Cal State Dominguez Hills, where he once again, was an All American for both years.
    • He has continued to play on many semi-professional teams and other adult teams including Danubia, FRAM, Exiles, and Doxa Italia.
    • Kenyon currently plays with the #1 Men’s team in the South Bay (SBPSL) – the FRAM Premier Men’s Team.
